Cardiovascular surgery department at MEMORIAL Hospitals in Istanbul works in close cooperation in many European and North American hospitals to perform some of the most complicated procedures the field. Equipped with the latest, state-of-art technology, the department is staffed by the top specialists in the country. Many of our specialists have completed their residency at top medical institutions worldwide.

Among some of the achievements of the MEMORIAL cardiovascular team is the first procedure in the country carried out with the AESOP - a surgical robotic arm. The cardiovascular centre at the hospital is also the first in Turkey and one of the first in the world to use a thermal camera in one of the coronary bypass surgeries. The team has also successfully performed aortic endostent procedures - once again we were the first in Turkey to do that.
